It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the record chasers, are all that remain for a squad that has won it all.

It needed as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the pitchers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It's challenging for their hitters to hold a record if not provided the opportunity.

Some will argue the case for final game tension. Some might respond with the challenge that comes when confronting a historic chase and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What is certain is this hundred was far harder to anticipate.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 came as she topped the run-scoring charts, but this performance followed six innings in India over the past few weeks in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it's been a challenging time because I feel like I've had no rhythm at all," said Healy.

"However when you enter the playing area, your competitive nature kick in and you just lock into the contest."

Healy's fighting spirit has continuously been her major advantage - and a priceless quality in taking over from legendary former captain Meg Lanning.

She was troubled by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, out to the 22-year-old seamer in every game, but here that only provided Healy's spark.

"The possibility to go out there and face the challenge with her and merely enjoy the moment in that aspect, sort of got me going," stated Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 deliveries - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

By the time she was dismissed Australia needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the belief to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if we do, we believe we can do it."

These statements will be the last Australia's opponents at this championship want to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this triumph succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may well be secure.

It was at that stage they left the previous year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - an encounter Healy was absent due to ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the first time at a significant event.
